Paton Hawksley Education Limited has been manufacturing diffraction gratings for over 40 years. The business started in 1952 and became incorporated as 'Paton Hawksley Electronics Ltd' in 1959. At that time we were a pioneering company in the field of digital measurement, which introduced us to diffraction grating technology.

 

 

 

 

 

In recent years we have specialised in supplying the educational market, creating a unique range of products for this demanding sector. We changed our name to Paton Hawksley Education Ltd in 1994 to better reflect our new focus and have been dedicated to producing quality optical components for the industry since this time.

 

 

 

 

Our present catalog contains a range of educational gratings, spectroscopes and a diffraction grating made specifically for amateur astronomers, the 'Star Analyser 100'.
